Scott Boras negotiated the deal for the Yankees’ Carlos Rodon at Fenway Park

The busiest guy in baseball negotiated the Yankees’ trade for Carlos Rodon from enemy territory.

While visiting Fenway Park for the unveiling of another one of his clients – Japanese outfielder Masataka Yoshida – MLB superagent Scott Boras completed Rodon’s deal with the Yankees.

According to the Boston Globe, the last stages of Rodon’s contract negotiations between Boras and the Yankees “took place while Boras snacked on food provided by the Red Sox.”

Former Giants and White Sox starting pitcher Rodon agreed to a six-year, $162 million agreement with the Yankees on Thursday, Jon Heyman of The Post reported. Rodon is projected to be the second starter in the rotation, behind another Boras client, Gerrit Cole.

Boras has had a very productive offseason, as several of his clients have signed large contracts. After a brief flirtation with the Mets, Carlos Correa inked a 13-year, $350 million contract with the Giants earlier this week.

After spending 10 seasons with the Red Sox, Xander Bogaerts, another Boras client, signed an 11-year, $280 million contract with the Padres.
