When it came to Jaypaul and Saskay’s connection, Ebuka inquired about what transpired between them after the program, since it appeared that when Jaypaul left the House before Saskay, he had a lot of issues to deal with in the outside world concerning what happened in the House.
So, when narrating his story to Ebuka, Jaypaul confessed that he encountered a lot of drama outside the House, and that it was at that time that he hoped to establish a lovely connection with the one he valued within.
Later, Jaypaul revealed that Saskay, whom he had expected to join voice to say something positive about him, instead came out to declare “who’s Jaypaul” whenever she was asked about him in interviews.
He stated that Saskay’s lack of recognition for him saddens him so much that he believes she has denied him more times than Judas had denied Christ.
“Honestly, outside the House, I was looking forward to a lovely friendship,” Jaypaul stated. In the sense that I want to see you win because I’ve seen you inside the House in this vision.
I want to see you win outside. I want to be there for you and you’re winning. I want to be able to support you through it. But that thing happens.
“So, yeah, I did look forward to a beautiful friendship, outside. When I came out, I came out before her, I met a lot of drama, because it felt like I was using her and I didn’t want the best for her.
“I sacrificed a moment, where I wanted huge time. And you’re telling me, people were telling me, your family, everybody seems it’s about me”.
Ebuka asked, “Does it mean like her actual family”? And Jaypaul replied, “People around her”.
“When you come out of the House, I mean, I went through every interview and every question that was asked to me, you (Ebuka) asked me that question. And you said, did you think you were manipulated in this triangle? And I said no, I don’t think that’s the kind of person she is. I don’t think, for any reason that she used me for her game.
“Everything was said, I waited for you to come outside, so you can have one good thing to say about me. Just say something. Just say, ‘Jaypaul was a great person and everything will just water down’. But that was never said.
“All you said was, who’s Jaypaul?” Ebuka asked, “Oh she said that”? And Jaypaul replied, that’s what I heard”. Ebuka continued, “In an interview”? Jaypaul said, “And that hurts me. Your first… you came out… I asked my Aunt to buy a flower”. Ebuka asked, “Another flower”? Jaypaul replied, “I bought flowers. She never knew that the flowers came from me. I saw it in the video. She had that flowers in the video, but nobody told her that those flowers were from me.
“I genuinely cared about her but I was thrown under the bus. She denied me more times than Judas denied Christ. And that hurts me. I didn’t ask for a relationship, but then I came out, I saw many hate campaign”.
Ebuka asked, “From the day she came out, she never acknowledged a friendship with you even”? Jaypaul answered, “I never heard it”. Ebuka added, “You said you had a conversation with her. What came out of that conversation and when did this conversation happened”?
Jaypaul responded, “So many times, we’ve had a few conversations. We’ve actually sat down to talk about it. She also explained this ‘who’s Jaypaul thing’. That this is not what she meant and all of that.
“So, I expected some… Say something, like, this guy is a good guy. Just say something. That was never said. And that hurts”.
