Gwyneth Paltrow admitted she has “damaged people” and “betrayed” herself in a honest article about her 50th birthday.

The “Sliding Doors” actress will be 50 on September 27. In a message for her Goop brand, she reflected on her past errors and resolved to learn from them as she looks to the future.

It said: “Never deliberately, I’ve wounded people. I’ve disappointed individuals by falling short of their expectations. I betrayed myself for peace…”

“‘I’ve crossed boundaries, which sometimes wakes me up and keeps me up all night in humiliation.

“I’ve avoided speaking my truth out of fear that hurting someone would pull us apart.”

“My greatest lasting blunders and the chaos that comes with them have all originated from my not standing completely in my truth,” Paltrow said.

“Saying the words that may have saved grief and consequences. No. This is wrong. Unrealistic aspirations.

“You’re acting inappropriately. I’ve outgrown this connection. Not for me. I’m over you.”

She claimed that her blunders lead her to “a road of inquiry” She stated she gave similar marital counsel to Apple, 18, and Moses, 16.

The actress taught her kids to follow their intuition and make romantic choices based on their emotions.

In 2016, she divorced Martin and married TV executive Brad Falchuk.
