Samthing Soweto’s dog Ntsimbi passed away, and the Akulaleki hitmaker shared a video of Ntsimbi with the words “RIP Ntsimbi, until we meet again ” on Instagram yesterday (3 February).
When he revealed the death of his Boerboel Ntsimbi, the musician’s fans and following flooded him with condolence notes.According to American Kennel Club,
“Boerboels are formidable but perceptive protectors of love and family who learnt their skill while guarding rural South African farmsteads from terrible predators. They are dominant and self-assured, as well as intelligent and ready to learn.
Samthing Soweto released a video of Ntsimbi in which the Boerboel could be seen licking his owner’s face to express affection. The Amagents hitmaker welcomed Ntsimbi’s hug as he sat on the pavement, cuddling his dog.
The enormous Boerboel then wandered over to greet a neighbor and received additional attention.
Netizens were astounded by how large but gentle Ntsimbi was after witnessing the video and consoled the Asante Sana hitmaker in the comment section for his loss.
According to News24, Samthing Soweto suffered with depression last year. He apparently made a video explaining his weight reduction to his admirers, stating that he was experiencing a common occurrence.
Reportedly, his celebrity buddies supported the revelation, including Grammy-winning DJ Black Coffee and Dumi Mkokstad.
Fans of the Andinanto hitmaker also arrived in large numbers and offered him words of encouragement.
