Riley Higgins property heir and rapper charged of air rifle robbery

The heir of a multimillionaire real estate magnate who has been photographed with Scott Morrison is accused of robbing a gas station for $400 with an air weapon.

Riley Higgins, the 23-year-old son of multimillionaire Mortgage Choice co-founder Peter Higgins, allegedly entered the Metro Petroliam Service Station in Avalon on Sydney’s northern coastline at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and ‘politely’ requested cash, according to court testimony.

Rapper who releases music videos online appeared via video connection in Manly Local Court on Thursday, charged with one count of robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon.

Robert Candelori, his attorney, told NewsLocal that his client intends to defend against the charges.

An employee who was seen on surveillance footage with a firearm pointed in her face reported that the armed robber was quite kind.

She told 9News, “It was extremely surreal…he was incredibly courteous.”

Another worker remarked, “Is this really occurring… are you kidding me?” Higgins will spend the next two weeks behind bars as a result of his refusal to apply for release on Thursday.

Mr. Candelori stated, “These are significant concerns, and of course he requires a psychiatric evaluation, which we are arranging, and perhaps we will have more information later.”

However, at present time the case is being defended.

Higgins, who attended the premium $40,000-per-year Scots College in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, was seen beside his multimillionaire father and former prime minister Scott Morrison.

Peter Higgins, who assisted in the establishment of Mortgage Choice in 1992, is no longer involved with the company.

The Australian mortgage brokerage service has more than 350,000 clients and a national panel of over 40 residential home loan providers.

The corporation is valued at approximately $244 million.
