Whitney Rose appeared to mock Jen Shah’s exit from ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ after she was sentenced to more than six years in prison for fraud.
After appearing on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen and Julia Fox on Wednesday night, the reality star posted a photo from the show with a cryptic remark.
“Season 3 of #rhoslc was a lot and very heavy,” she posted on Instagram on Friday, hours after Shah found out her fate.
“Ending it with such a wonderful show was the right way to cap a challenging season. The darkness has passed, and light has arrived.”
Although Rose did not mention Shah by name, her supporters quickly identified her “shade” in the comments section.
One person joked, “The darkness was just sentenced to 6.5 years in prison,” while another added, “The darkness is gone is sending me the shade for real (and it’s hilarious)!”
Shortly thereafter, the 36-year-old posted a selfie in her car with the comment “What a day…” on her Instagram Story.
Rose celebrated the conclusion of the third season on “Watch What Happens Live.”
Shah recently accused Rose of having ties to a Capitol rioter, continuing a longstanding feud between the two women.
Rose and castmate Lisa Barlow responded by advising Shah to concentrate on her own legal concerns.
Shah was sentenced to six and a half years in prison on Friday for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from thousands of individuals, particularly the elderly.
The former reality star took a minute after the hearing to apologize to the victims of her telemarketing operation as well as her family.
According to ABC reporter Aaron Katersky, the 49-year-old exclaimed through tears, “I am profoundly and deeply sorry” while looking at her husband, Sharrieff, and sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar.
She said that she “violated” her core values of “humility, loyalty, and respect” and that her actions “harmed innocent people.”
Shah will begin serving her prison term on February 17.
