Rescue workers report that Russian forces occupying the Donetsk region of Ukraine ate ZOO ANIMALS for sustenance

According to reports, desperate Russian soldiers were so hungry that they resorted to eating zoo animals.

According to rescue volunteers, soldiers committed horrifying acts of brutality at Yampil Zoo in the Donetsk area’s eastern region.

The settlement of Yampil was freed by Ukrainian forces on September 30.

The rescue personnel arrived at the zoo ten days later to find scattered animal skeletons and chunks of flesh and bone.

“Many animals were devoured by the orcs,” one of the volunteers stated, employing the Ukrainian slang term for Russian invaders.

Two camels, a kangaroo, a bison, some piglets, birds, and wolves were killed, according to the authorities.

These rescued animals are being cared for in the city of Dnipro.

Prior to the invasion on February 24, zookeepers reported that the compound was home to a variety of animals, including bears, camels, antelopes, and wild boars.

Volunteers are gathering evidence in preparation for contacting Ukrainian law enforcement officials with the intent of filing charges.
