Protesters at March for Our Lives rally in Washington D.C. sent running after man tries to run on stage

After a guy attempted to run onto the stage at the March for Our Lives demonstration in Washington, D.C., protesters were forced to flee.

Before being apprehended, he exclaimed, “I’m not shooting the school,” and hurled an object into the crowd.

Many people were spotted hiding on the floor, believing the man was armed.

This was not the case, and the speaker who took the stage after him reassured the audience that there was no danger.

A person standing near a group of counter-protesters began yelling during a moment of quiet for gun violence victims not long before, about 1.30 p.m. local time.

This prompted some people in the crowd to run away and several people were seen crying afterwards.
