Princess Diana’s niece celebrates an extravagant hen celebration in Cape Town

Lady Amelia Spencer celebrated her approaching marriage with a hen party poolside in Cape Town, surrounded by relatives.

Amelia, 30, niece of Princess Diana and daughter of Earl Spencer, will wed fiance Greg Mallett in March 2023 in a ceremony that promises to be extravagant.

Nick Mallett, the former coach of the Springboks, is the uncle of Mallett.

Amelia and her 11-year real estate partner met while attending the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Amelia and a group of her friends traveled to South Africa to celebrate the event prior to the couple settling in the United Kingdom.

Amelia wrote on Instagram that the party was her “dream bachelorette” and that she had “one of the best days of my life with my best friends.”

According to the Daily Mail, Amelia, a first cousin of Princes William and Harry, was joined at the party by her twin sister, Lady Eliza Spencer, who wore a floral minidress.

In contrast, Amelia chose for a wedding white two-piece by Reformation.

She complemented her outfit with Versace hefty gold link heels and a matching bag, and pulled her hair back into a tidy ponytail.

Amelia changed into a white minidress with a deep V-neck later in the day.

Mallett posted a slideshow of the event to social media with the caption, “Can’t wait to marry you!”

Amelia responded, “This is so unique!”

Amelia, whose given name is Katya, and Eliza grew up with their siblings Kitty and Louis in Constantia, Cape Town.

In 2011, the three sisters attended Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding at Westminster Abbey.

Eliza, Kitty, and Louis attended the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May 2018, but Amelia was absent.
