Prince William’s ex-private secretary says Kate Middleton “guides” the royal family

Roles within the royal family changed after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were given the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales by King Charles III, who assumed the throne.

Although the late queen was a stabilizing factor for both the United Kingdom and her family, her passing also created a leadership void in the monarchy.

And Kate Middleton is taking over to do that duty, claims a former member of the royal staff.

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Prince William’s former private secretary, described Kate as the matriarch of the royal family to People.

Lowther-Pinkerton said, “Not in the sense of an elderly lady with a twin set and pearls, but she directs the family.

The Princess of Wales, like Camilla, Queen Consort, advises William when he asks her to, according to Lowther-Pinkerton.

The Mail on Sunday published an excerpt from royal reporter Kate Nicholl’s upcoming book, “The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown,” in which she claimed that the king speaks to Camilla about his ideas and practices speeches for her, and that there are “times when she calls the shots.”
