Prince Andrew blames past PMs for encouraging him to agree to £12m settlement with Virginia Giuffre

According to sources, Prince Andrew feels “betrayed” by former Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and David Cameron. He blames them for allegedly “cutting him dead” and pushing him to agree prematurely to a £12 million settlement with Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual assault when she was 17. The Prince paid the settlement while denying the allegations.

Andrew reportedly felt pressurized into the agreement after a conversation with Boris Johnson in January of last year. Sources claimed that Johnson advised him that it would be in everyone’s best interest to settle the matter and that would be the end of it.

Aside from Johnson, the Prince also reportedly harbors a grudge against David Cameron. He claimed that Cameron was “all over him” during his term as Prime Minister for hosting events at Buckingham Palace for entrepreneurs.

However, when the Giuffre allegations resurfaced in late 2019, Cameron allegedly cut him off and refused to make eye contact during the same events.

Mr. Johnson has declined to comment on the matter.
