Prime Minister Boris Johnson meets Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson and Finnish President Sauli Niinistö at the NATO Summit in Madrid today

The prime minister reaffirmed his unwavering support for Sweden’s and Finland’s efforts to join NATO.

He hailed the advancements made during his trips to Sweden and Finland last month and characterized their accession as a significant step forward for NATO.

According to the prime minister, the addition of two more democratic nations committed to world peace would forever bolster our Defense Alliance and keep us all secure.

Providing a report on his recent trip to Kiev, the prime minister The necessity to counter Russian threats and intimidation in all of its forms was highlighted by the leaders.

They agreed that Putin is giving Ukraine no other choice, therefore they agreed to make sure the Ukrainian people have the resources they need to turn the tide in his pointless war of aggression.
