President Tinubu’s Visit to Alake of Egbaland

President Bola Tinubu paid a visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, at his Ake palace in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

The President was warmly received by Oba Gbadebo, along with other traditional rulers and chiefs present at the palace.

Dignitaries in Attendance

President Tinubu was accompanied by several prominent figures, including his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, and the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Noimot Salako-Oyedele.

Additionally, the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, and the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, Dele Alake, were part of the President’s entourage.

Inspection of Military Guard of Honours

Upon his arrival at Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu Ode, President Tinubu was received by Governor Abiodun.

He then proceeded to inspect the Military Guard of Honours before making his way to the residence of Oba Adetona.

Significance of the Visit

This visit marked President Tinubu’s first official visit to Ogun State since assuming office as President on May 29.

The visit demonstrated the President’s engagement with traditional leaders and his commitment to fostering relationships with key stakeholders in various regions of Nigeria.
