A gender reveal party went viral after a woman forgot her partner was color-blind and the duo fired a confetti cannon without realizing it.
The TikTok, which has nearly 2 million views, shows 23-year-old Jenna Cowan and her boyfriend pulling the cannon and pink confetti showering the duo. Cowan does not notice her error until her boyfriend turns and asks, “What is it?”
“Oops,” the video’s caption reads.
In-video text reads, “Not me forgetting my boyfriend is colorblind during our gender reveal.”
Cowan reported that her partner was completely okay with the error.
Cowan told Newsweek, “He had no problem with it at all.” “He just wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl; he’s very laid-back and easy-going, so it didn’t bother him at all.”
Cowan continued, “We were convinced it was a boy, so finding out it was a girl was a complete surprise, but we are ecstatic to become parents.”
One commenter exclaimed, “Considering he couldn’t see the color, his expression suggests he didn’t care whether it was pink or blue.”
“It’s the fact that he did a gender reveal despite knowing he was color blind,” added a second person. He’s a keeper, lady.
