A pregnant mother of three has died unexpectedly while carrying her fourth child, devasting her police officer spouse and the father of their children.

Colleagues of her longterm partner Matt Owen, a police officer and mortgage broker in the NSW Riverina city of Wagga Wagga, contributed over $43,000 for the family.

Megan Fisher passed away suddenly on October 5, leaving behind her longtime companion Matt Owen and their three young boys Josh, 19, Zac, 17, and Levi, 9 years old.

Family and friends, including her employees at Goodstart Early Learning Estrella, lamented the loss of Ms. Fisher, 39.

The center reported that Megan was a pleasant and caring person who effortlessly formed beautiful reciprocal relationships with the children in her care.

Matt’s mother Dianne comforted Megan’s mother Joanne Fisher by referring to Ms Fisher as her “third daughter.”

Her family also received condolences from the soccer club where Mr. Owen coached the under-18 boys team, Wagga City Wanderers.

On Thursday, Ms. Fisher’s funeral will be held for relatives and friends at a Wagga Wagga church.

Friends of the family organized a fundraising through NSW Police Legacy that garnered contributions from over 500 individuals.

Ms. Fisher was also a dietitian for NSW Health, bringing this knowledge into the classroom.
