Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) is currently accepting applications for its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening procedure for the 2022/2023 academic year. Below are the prerequisites and instructions for obtaining the AKSU post-UTME form.

The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) is currently accepting applications for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise for the 2022-2023 academic session.

Online applications from eligible UTME candidates and Direct Entry (DE) aspirants are invited.

AKSU Post UTME Eligibility
ONLY Eligible for screening are students who scored 140 or higher on the 2022 UTME administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) their first choice institution.
In addition, each candidate must have earned a minimum of five (5) credits, including English Language, in no more than two (2) attempts.
Candidates for Direct Entry must hold an OND/NCE/HND/First Degree/A’ Level in relevant disciplines and courses.

UPLOADING OF O’LEVEL RESULTS:

All candidates are required to submit their SSCE results via the University’s website (www.aksu.edu.ng/portal).
Candidates are encouraged to ensure that their O-level results have been uploaded appropriately to the JAMB Portal.
All submitted files must be legible and readable. Documents that are blurry or unclear will result in immediate disqualification.
The University will NOT consider for admission any candidate who fails to upload original copies of his or her results and other relevant academic credentials.

AKSU Post-UTME / DE Screening Exercise Requirements:
2022 UTME Result Slip with candidate’s color photograph.
2022 JAMB DE transcript (Direct Entry applicants only).
Details regarding your WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate/Result and Scratch Card(s), where applicable.
Diploma, NCE or A-level result or certificate (Direct Entry applicants only)
Birth Certificate Origination certificate.
Medical certification from a government-approved hospital.
How to Fill Out the AKSU Post-UMTE Form

Monday, September 5, 2022, until Friday, October 14, 2022, the University portal will be accessible for registration.

Candidates must register online for the screening exercise using the following procedure:

Visit: https://aksu.edu.ng/app/
Select “Start Now”
Select “Enroll”
Enter your Jamb Registration Number and press the Next button.
Proceed to make the NGN 2,000.00 registration fee payment (excluding bank charges).
Nationwide, payment can be made by debit card or bank deposit. Repeat steps 1-3 if payment is made at the bank, then continue with registration.
Click to submit a photo of passport size (photo must be between 20kB and 50kB) and then click Next.
Enter your O-level result information (School Name, Exam Year, Exam Type, Exam Batch (Internal/External), and subject grades).
Note: Candidates awaiting results must select “awaiting results” from the test type drop-down menu and leave the o-level details boxes blank.
Click Next after entering the O-level result details.
Upload scanned copies of your documents (Certificate of Origin, Original Jamb Result, O-level Result, Certificate of Medical Fitness, 2022 JAMB DE printout (only for DE)) in jpg format with a minimum size of 120kB and a maximum size of 150kB.
Review the entered information to check its accuracy.
Click the ‘Finish’ button after confirmation to generate the registration confirmation slip.

NOTE:

Applicants who do not register for the Post-UTME screening examination will not be considered for admission.
Applicants who did not select or modify their University of First Choice to AKSU on the 2022 UTME or Direct Entry exam are ineligible for this exercise.
Each candidate should provide his/her personal phone number and legitimate email address when completing the application form in order to get timely notifications, messages, and directives. Avoid using the credentials of a cyber café operator or any other third party.
Document misrepresentation or fabrication is a criminal offense. Therefore, candidates are urged to submit only authentic papers.
No candidate with pending results will be admitted to AKSU. Please send your O-level results to the JAMB and AKSU portals.
To reduce congestion near the registration deadline, it is recommended to begin registration early.
The AKSU portal for candidate registration for the screening exercise will close on Friday, October 14, 2022.
To successfully complete the online submissions, candidates are highly encouraged to closely follow to the aforementioned instructions.
