They nearly turned into the “Imprisoned Jokers.”
Brian “Q” Quinn and guest star Post Malone were almost taken to jail while filming Season 10 of “Impractical Jokers” in a Gramercy parking garage.
The two dressed as parking attendants at E. 22nd Street’s Little Man Parking, which was in on the joke. However, the customers were not, and one of them ultimately contacted the police.
“Thank goodness they were fans of the show,” James “Murr” Murray remarked of the arriving law enforcement. We almost arrested Q and Post Malone.
In the episode, Malone appears to have used marijuana in the car of an unaware customer.
“Boss, thanks for letting me smoke in there, man,” the rapper says to Quinn in front of the perplexed customer, coughing as smoke escapes the vehicle.
Another irate patron called the NYPD, but after learning he was on the hidden-camera show, he was forgiving.
Quinn added, “Once we informed the person who called the police of the situation, he took a very charitable stance toward it.”
For the current season, which premieres on truTV and TBS on February 9th, the comics were filmed in all five boroughs, a welcome return following a large number of controlled shoots in New Jersey during the pandemic.
“You’ll see us in New York City supermarkets, delis, and all the other places we used to frequent,” added Quinn. “We were able to shoot back in Tompkins Square Park.”
They are already brainstorming concepts for the series finale.
“When the show concludes many years from now, the loser will be forced to return to high school,” stated Murray. “As if you attended school every day… in your late forties.”
In 1990, these three pranksters initially met at Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island, where they would likely redo the classroom.
The group, who are all 46 years old, attributes their success to the improv club at the Oakwood school for boys only.
Sal Vulcano told The Post, “I have no idea where this would have ended up if I hadn’t taken improv in high school, fallen in love with it, and then started doing it with my friends.” “I don’t know if this follows the same pattern.”
The forgotten municipality has designated February 6 and every first Monday of February thereafter as Impractical Jokers Day in honor of its wacky sons.
“You’ll see us in New York City supermarkets, delis, and all the other places we used to frequent,” said Quinn, who mentioned Ariemma’s Italian Deli as one of his favorite Staten Island establishments.

Murray inquired, “Are we getting paid for this in some way?” “Let me tell you what… I’ll take maybe one free Verrazzano toll every month. It will be worthwhile.”
“I believe we receive a colossal key to Staten Island,” Quinn said, adding that he expects it will grant him access to “a mysterious cave in the center of Staten Island” where Cornelius Vanderbilt is still living.
This season’s guest list also includes John Mayer, who wrote the ensemble their first fan email in 2011.

When most people view them, they also believe they are on television.
“I attended a Giants game… “at halftime [at the urinal],” Murray said. “The man to my left leans over, whispers in my ear, and asks, ‘Am I currently on television?’”
