Police say a Texas father is charged with capital murder after allegedly stabbing his nine-year-old son to death.
The boy was discovered “unconscious and bleeding” at the family’s house in the Dallas suburb of McKinney on Friday afternoon, according to police who responded to a complaint that a lady had discovered her severely damaged child.
Officers responded on the incident and forcibly entered the residence, where they discovered the woman’s husband self-injuring with a knife.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the McKinney family who suffered the tragic loss of their 9-year-old son today,” police stated.
