Police shoot man outside Lithgow Hospital

Police were trying to apprehend a guy with a knife when they shot him outside of a hospital.

The incident was verified to have occurred “outside of Lithgow Hospital on the Great Western Highway” in the NSW Central Tablelands, according to a NSW Police statement released to Daily Mail Australia.

According to early accounts, police shot a guy who was reportedly carrying a knife while trying to apprehend him, according to a statement from NSW Police.

According to 9News, he is thought to have been shot in the abdomen on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

According to the police statement, “The male was evaluated by emergency personnel at the site.”

There are no people still wanted.

Police are also advising the general public to stay away from the area since a sizable operation is now taking place there.

The NSWPF is looking into the incident’s circumstances, and the Professional Standards Command will evaluate their findings, according to a statement from the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
