The climate activists from Just Stop Oil were yelled at by enraged motorists who swerved around them today in front of Buckingham Palace.

On the eleventh consecutive day of demonstrations, members of the group attempted to block The Mall, as a van driver honked his horn and shouted, “Get a job!”

A cab driver yelled at them, “You’re full of s****! Go get yourself a real f****** job. However, a cyclist encouraged them, “Keep up the good work, demonstrators. Stay strong.’A woman is pictured being carried away from the protest after Just Stop Oil eco zealots established a roadblock on The Mall at around 8.45am

At approximately 8.45 a.m., protesters wearing high-visibility vests branded with the Just Stop Oil emblem sat across the street and erected a blockage amid ongoing demonstrations against the government’s fossil fuels policies.

Another officer stated, “I do not wish for you to injure yourself, sir.” If you glue yourself to the road, someone could run you over, and I would hate for you to sustain any kind of injury.’

This morning, another liaison officer was observed speaking with members of the group who were seated in the rain and asking if they had “any questions or concerns.”

Today at 8.45 a.m., 30 activists from Just Stop Oil erected a blockade on The Mall, blocking traffic in both directions as they sat down with the organization’s banners.

Today, a spokesperson for Just Stop Oil stated, ‘At 8:45 this morning, 30 Just Stop Oil supporters erected a barrier on the Mall, halting traffic in both directions. They are seated on the roadway, and some have even glued themselves to the asphalt.

And a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman tweeted, ‘We are aware of an ongoing protest in The Mall, W1 – officers are now on the site and working to remove the demonstrators. A portion of the road is still closed. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

This morning, Just Stop Oil demonstrators blocked The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace in London.

Emma Brown, a 31-year-old resident of Glasgow who was one of the Just Stop Oil protestors who blocked The Mall, stated that the activists would walk 500 miles to “just stop oil.”

Ms. Brown stated that the protesters had traveled from Scotland and that she was participating in her first rally.

She stated, “We’ve descended because the government is moving forward with over one hundred additional fossil fuel licenses.” And this is practically a death sentence for everyone here, including you.

Therefore, we cannot permit this to continue. There must be a cutoff someplace. We have already observed the effects at our doorstep. Globally, the consequences can be observed. And this must end immediately.’

Students from Park Mains High School in Erskine, Renfrewshire, were observing the demonstrators at the scene. One instructor said, “Let’s take a picture with the activists!”

Another teacher reprimanded a student for filming a demonstrator in the face. The schoolboy remarked, “However, they are protestors who seek attention.” The instructor responded, “Do not repeat that. Turn your head inward.

Several police officers and police liaison officers spoke with demonstrators on The Mall. Eight police vehicles were present at the location.

A police officer said, “How long will you be here?” A protestor responded, “Until we have a new government”

The police then conducted a search of the demonstrators before removing them off The Mall. Several of the campaigners had their hands glued together.

The police announced that they needed to clear the road for the Changing of the Guard, and then began detaining demonstrators on The Mall.

Two individuals voluntarily exited the roadway and were brought to a police van, while others were roughly lifted by cops to other vans.

At around 10 a.m., some protestors departed of their own own and were transferred to a police van, while others were physically lifted by cops to different vans.

A police officer on the site verified that arrests had been made.

The protestors, who traveled from Scotland, stated that they felt compelled to act after the UK Government’s September endorsement of a North Sea oil and gas development.

This month, the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) is anticipated to issue a new set of oil and gas licenses.

Scottish Secretary Alister Jack stated that this might result in the issuance of over a hundred additional licenses, which could’safeguard’ UK energy supply and support over 70,000 employment in Scotland.

Ailith Stewart, a 20-year-old student from Edinburgh and activist, stated: ‘I’m taking action with Just Stop Oil because I’m fed up with being ignored by the government in Westminster.

Their decisions do not represent the people’s best interests. This government seems focused on neglecting everything that can be done to ameliorate the climate issue and causing ordinary people to suffer in the interest of business.

If there is any opportunity to demonstrate that the people will not tolerate it, I want to seize it. We are more numerous than they are, and we are the source of their power.

“I’m taking action for my future, the future of my loved ones, and any children I may have in the future, as well as for everyone who has to endure the effects of the climate problem without ever having a say in the matter.”

This morning, Just Stop Oil demonstrators blocked The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace in London.

And Kevin Wing, a 47-year-old father of two from Glasgow, added: ‘My children’s favorite book is The Lorax; they already comprehend what the Eton-educated government fails to comprehend: that oil extraction at any cost will destroy our only home.

“I am taking action for all the families in the global south who are already suffering from the repercussions of climate change, as well as for the future of my children’s generation.

Instead of helping desperate households amid this energy crisis, the UK government is handing billions of pounds in tax incentives to the fossil fuel industry.

This is enriching a privileged elite at the expense of ordinary people who must choose between heating their houses and eating.

I am engaging in nonviolent direct action to combat this appalling disparity and the British government’s war on the poor.

Yesterday, the Metropolitan Police made at least 45 arrests when the Just Stop Oil group attempted to obstruct portions of Westminster with another sit-in demonstration.

Today, a spokesperson for Just Stop Oil stated, ‘Our supporters will return – today, tomorrow, and the next day – and every day until our demand is met: no new oil and gas in the UK.

“We will not be scared by changes in the legislation, nor will we be deterred by private injunctions aimed at silencing peaceful people.”

Our supporters recognize that these are inconsequential in comparison to widespread starvation, slaughter, and the destruction of our rights, liberties, and communities.
