During a traffic check, an Arkansas motorcyclist carrying a gasoline-filled backpack was enveloped by a fireball when a state trooper used a Taser on him, according to authorities. The rider was expected to survive.
Arkansas State Police obtained a spectacular dashcam footage of the traffic stop on October 13th.
The video depicts a trooper attempting to pull over a motorbike operated by Christopher Gaylor, 38, of Alexander, Arkansas, due to the absence of a license plate.
On the footage, he can be seen blatantly disregarding all traffic signals and attempting to navigate past many automobiles.
State police reported that a pursuit began with speeds topping 100 miles per hour until Gaylor jumped off his motorcycle in a residential area of North Little Rock
A second state trooper Tasered Gaylor, causing an immediate explosion. Later, state police discovered that Gaylor was carrying approximately one gallon of gasoline in his rucksack.

The Arkansas State Police said that after a motorbike pursuit, officers deployed a stun gun on a man who then burst into flames. Police believe the driver’s rucksack contained a container of gasoline. According to ASP, man is intended to live.

The cyclist was promptly sent to the burn section of a nearby hospital.
State police say the video shows troopers extinguishing the fire and administering medical attention to Gaylor, who remains hospitalized but is expected to recover.
Gaylor is charged with felony flight, failure to register a vehicle, driving with a suspended license, and dangerous driving.
No Arkansas State Police officers have been investigated or penalized in relation to the incident.
Officers told CNN, Gaylor allegedly never disclosed that he carried gasoline in his rucksack, nor did the exterior of his backpack provide a warning.
It was unclear whether he was represented by an attorney.
