She was at home with her two children when the police burst into her apartment with their guns drawn.

Wezenter said that police tried to connect her with mental health services after the incident, but she declined.

Open Investigations

According to Jacobson, there are still two open investigations into the matter, and the police will not release the application for the search warrant or information about what was found in Yergeau’s apartment until they are certain no one else is involved in the case.

The state could also decide whether or not to release the warrant.
