Peter Madrigal, the latest cast member of “Vanderpump Rules,” is not pleased with Raquel Leviss for calling him a “starting pony” on a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” Madrigal, who manages SUR and is 38 years old, expressed his displeasure by saying, “I’m nobody’s starter pony.” He also stated that he keeps an even keel, but he couldn’t help asking, “Who the f–k do you think you are?”
Madrigal and Leviss went on a few dates while she was having a secret affair with his friend Tom Sandoval. Leviss went out with Madrigal a few months after ending her engagement with DJ James Kennedy, another “Vanderpump Rules” cast member. During a March 1 episode of “WWHL,” Cohen asked Leviss if she regretted going out with Madrigal.
She replied, “Peter’s, like, a great starting pony to get back into the dating world.” Cohen visibly cringed at Leviss’s remark and put his cue cards over his face. Although he tried to soften the blow by complimenting Madrigal, the SUR manager was clearly not pleased with Leviss’s comment.
Madrigal was more disappointed in Leviss and Sandoval’s cheating scandal, which was confirmed by Page Six on March 3. Sandoval and his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, had called it quits due to his infidelity with Leviss.
Madrigal, who is “very team Ariana,” commented on the scandalous duo’s actions during the “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend” podcast. He added that the matching lightning bolt necklaces that Leviss and Sandoval wore were like a “wedding ring.”
An insider previously told Page Six that Leviss and Sandoval had been having an affair since July 2022, and another source noted that the two wanted to “be together” now.
Leviss has since spoken out and said that while she “cares” for Sandoval, she needs to “heal” to “understand” her choices and “learn to make better ones.” When asked on Rosen’s podcast if he thinks the scandalous duo are in love, Madrigal replied, “They might be.”
The cheating scandal will be a focal point of the end of Season 10, which is currently airing and has been captured by Bravo cameras.
