Just before he was scheduled to board Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin launch in March, Pete Davidson said earlier this year that his own life was more terrifying than the idea of traveling to space.
In the fourth episode of season two of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, which aired on Thursday, Davidson made jokes about his impending space trip, which was ultimately postponed. He responded that he was “creating one” when Kris Jenner questioned him about having a will in place in case anything went wrong.
Still, the former “Saturday Night Live” star didn’t appear too intimidated by the possibility.
On the telephone, Davidson added, “My personal life is scarier. To tell the truth, I’m eager to get the fuck away from everyone.
“Are you going to return?” Jenner posed the question, and Kardashian echoed it.
Davidson said, “I guess I’m going to remain up there, honey.”
Blue Origin, Bezos’ rocket business, said in March that Davidson and five other passengers will be traveling to space.
Later that month, the business revealed that Davidson would no longer be traveling on the launch. In the show, Kardashian said that once the launch date was changed, there were “scheduling difficulties” with one of Davidson’s projects.
During a confessional, she remarked, “I’m sure Pete would want to escape out of this planet right now, and would love to fly to space to get away from everyone.”
Davidson and Kardashian were dating when Thursday’s show was shot, but they later split up, as Insider reported in August. From their first meeting to his “thoughtful” actions, “The Kardashians” has shed some light on their months-long romance.
Jenner expressed her admiration for Davidson throughout the program, calling him “wonderful.”
He’s simply Pete, fits in with the family, no drama, no worry,” she remarked. “I believe Kim is content. She chuckles and exudes confidence. She performs best while around Pete.”
