Orlando Pirates are apparently keeping tabs on an RS Berkane defender, and they could seek to sign him before the transfer window closes

Issoufou Dayo is a veteran player who guided Berkane to victory over Pirates in the CAF Confederation Cup in May 2022.

Now that the Pirates are purportedly in possession of an offer for Olisa Ndah, they are eager to find a successor before deciding whether to sell him.

Dayo, a 31-year-old defender, plays as both a right and a central defender. He is an international from Burkina Faso.

Dayo was the captain of the Burkina Faso team that finished fourth at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). He has 62 international caps and six goals.

Berkane defeated Pirates to win the CAF Confederation Cup, his second championship in three years with the club.
