OOU Open and Distance Learning Admission Form

Admission to the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, Open and Distance Learning programs for the 2022/2023 academic session is open to adequately qualified applicants.

Admission Requirements for OOU’s Open and Distance Learning

A. Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree

The candidate must have earned five ‘O’ level credits in disciplines including English Language and Mathematics in no more than two sittings. Economics, geography, commerce, government, accounting, and bookkeeping must comprise the remaining three subjects.
At the UTME, candidates are required to study English Language and Mathematics, as well as two additional courses from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts, and Bookkeeping (JAMB).

B. Three-Year Degree Coursework

In addition to (Aprerequisites, )’s candidates must possess at least one of the following:

Pass at least two HSC or GCE “A” level subjects. (The grade point will be determined periodically by the department.)
OND in Accounting, Financial Studies, or Business Studies from an accredited Polytechnic or College of Technology with a minimum of Upper Credit.

C. ICAN ATS (Final Level)

Foundation certification from a recognized professional organization, such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CIBN, CIA, CIS, CITN, or ATSWA.
Lower Credit Diploma in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University may be accepted.
Diploma diplomas from any other recognized Social and Management Sciences programs at Olabisi Onabanjo University (especially Business Administration, Economics, and Banking & Finance). A lower grade may be acceptable.
