‘One of us’: Kelly Rowland praised over amapiano dance moves [watch]

According to Sunday World, Kelly Rowland was in the country after filming an advertisement for the alcohol beverage Brutal Fruit.

Whilst in the country, the acclaimed actress and singer showed her appreciation for local cuisine, art, and fashion.

Beyonce’s cousin was seen wining and dining in local eateries and visiting art exhibitions. She was also gifted with a pair of personalised Bathu sneakers, and spoils from Thando Thabethe and DJ Zinhle’s fashion lines Thabooty’s and Era respectively.

Kelly Rowland was also spotted wearing a gorgeous Maxhosa Africa robe whilst in the country.

But it was her love of SA music – particularly amapiano – which has South Africans really impressed. The star visited local choreographer Bontle Modiselle’s dance studio where she showed off her effortless moves.

A month after her visit to SA, Kelly Rowland was still singing the praises of SA.

She tweeted a clip of her dance routine alongside Bontle and a group of dancers: “This was one of the most memorable, fun experiences with movement I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to get back home to S.A. for more good times at your beautiful studio @BontleModiselle! Till next time”.

SA TWEEPS SHOW LOVE TO SINGER

Tweeps were loving Kelly Rowland’s dance moves – particularly South African tweeps.

@KKulluds: “Are you sure you are not South African?!”

@Dezicles: “You did these dances better than some of us here, to be honest”

@AndileBonxe: “We must give you an African name now. You belong here”
