The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has refuted claims that he has been consistently physically abusing his wife, Oluwaseun.

The allegations were made by a group called the Society for Women Empowerment, accusing Aiyedatiwa of assaulting his wife on two occasions within a span of four months.

In response, the deputy governor’s media aide, Kenneth Odusola, released a statement dismissing the allegations as baseless and an attempt by enemies to create turmoil in the state.

Aiyedatiwa maintained that there has never been any domestic violence in his marriage and cautioned those spreading the false accusations to stop or face consequences.

Aiyedatiwa, through his media aide, strongly denied the accusations of domestic abuse leveled against him.

According to him, the allegation of consistent physical abuse is unfounded, emphasizing that there has been no such instance within his marriage.

While asserting his right to privacy regarding family matters, Aiyedatiwa clarified that his wife, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, currently resides outside the country.

He highlighted that Mrs. Aiyedatiwa had been living and working in the United Kingdom for many years before he assumed public office in Nigeria.

Since then, she has been regularly traveling between the United Kingdom and Nigeria to take care of their home and children, who also reside in the UK.
