Nearly two months after her breakup with Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde sent a mysterious statement about love on Tuesday.
“I’d hate to die without having loved,” read the post on the Instagram Story of the “Don’t Worry Darling” filmmaker, beside a still from the 2004 romantic movie “Tropical Malady.”
“There is no animosity between them. “Neither Harry nor Olivia dumped the other,” a source informed us at the time.
This is Harry’s oldest relationship, thus it is evident that they share a particular bond.
Long distance was given as a reason for the couple’s decision to separate before the holidays.
The source explained, “It’s impossible to have a relationship when he’s touring every continent next year and Olivia has her job and her children.” This is the best option for both parties.
Styles has returned to England, where he spend Christmas with his mother, Anne Twist, his sister, Gemma Styles, and her boyfriend, Michal Mlynowski, in the months following the breakup.
“Christmas 2022,” Twist, 55, captioned an Instagram Reel of a family photo taken during a walk as a group.
Wilde, meantime, has remained active on social media and in the public spotlight, walking many red carpets and spending time at Disneyland with her 8-year-old son Otis and 6-year-old daughter Daisy.
The director of “Booksmart” has children with her ex-boyfriend Jason Sudeikis, to whom she was engaged when she cast Styles in “Don’t Worry, Darling” in late 2020.
Wilde and the former member of One Direction were initially reported to be dating by Page Six in January 2021, after they were pictured holding hands at his manager’s wedding.
The PDA-filled event occurred shortly after the announcement that Wilde had broken her engagement to Sudeikis, prompting to widespread rumors that she had dumped the “Ted Lasso” actor, 47, for Styles, something she has repeatedly denied.
Last year, she told Vanity Fair, “The utter nonsense notion that I abandoned Jason for Harry is completely false.”
She clarified, “Our relationship ended long before I met Harry.” “Like the dissolution of any relationship, it does not occur overnight.”
