Tonto Dikeh took to her social media page to assert that Sam Larry, widely known as Samson Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, made an attempt to enter the country discreetly but was reportedly apprehended at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
Connection to Mohbad’s Demise
There have been growing calls for Sam Larry’s arrest in connection with the tragic death of rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.
This controversy stems from a video that surfaced, showing Sam Larry invading a music video shoot and allegedly threatening the singer with armed men.

Tonto Dikeh posted a brief five-second video of Sam Larry’s arrival at the airport on Thursday night.
In her caption, she wrote, “Sam Larry being sneaked into Nigeria.
This is happening right now. Sam Larry, welcome back.”
Police Confirmation of Detention
In response to the unfolding events, the Lagos State Police Command has officially confirmed Sam Larry’s detention.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, Sam Larry is currently “assisting” with the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s tragic death.
The situation continues to draw attention and raise questions about the circumstances surrounding the rapper’s demise.
