NNPC Confirms Mele Kyari Remains as Group Managing Director

Amidst speculations circulating in certain media outlets, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has officially confirmed that Mele Kyari, their Group Managing Director, will not be leaving his position.

Reports emerged on Saturday suggesting that Kyari had been relieved of his duties by President Bola Tinubu.

However, credible sources within the Presidency and the NNPC, speaking on the condition of anonymity, have dismissed these speculations and labeled the news of Kyari’s supposed dismissal as “fake.”
