Nigerians participate in Surajkund International Festival 2023 in India

From 3 to 19 February 2023, Nigeria will participate in the Surajkund International Festival in Faridabad (Haryana), India.

As a participant at the Surajkund International Festival, 2023, Nigeria displayed its rich Cultural Heritage and Creative Industries in spectacular fashion. This historic event is the world’s largest Arts & Crafts festival. Nigeria received two (2) notable mentions, namely audience choice and VIP choice, culminating in the Presidential performance by the Ekiti State Performance Troupe and artists from the Bida Niger State Creative Towns, who successfully represented Nigeria during the event. African Countries at the Festival overwhelmingly selected Nigeria as their leader in light of its exceptional performances and exposition. The leading African Countries Cooperation Performance was Nigeria.

The festival exhibited the cultures of 56 countries and all of India’s 1,4 billion inhabitants, including nearly 50 million tourists and visitors. The group brought honor to Nigeria, and their hard work, dedication, discipline, and extraordinary patriotism are highly laudable. Nigeria was crowned the winner of the Surajkund International Arts and Crafts Festival as a result of her amazing abilities, which earned her the respect and favor of the entire audience and VIPs. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
