Nigerian Woman Collapses During Guinness World Record Attempt for Longest Massage
A video has emerged on social media showing the moment Nigerian woman, Joyc Ijeoma, collapsed during her ambitious endeavor to break the Guinness World Record for the longest massage on different individuals.
Ijeoma had embarked on this feat in the Lekki area of Lagos State, aiming to set a new record.
Ijeoma, who had prepared extensively for the challenge and claimed to have already completed over 18 hours of continuous massage, unfortunately could not continue her pursuit.
The circulating video captures the moment Ijeoma staggers before collapsing to the ground, having tirelessly massaged individuals for over fifty hours.
Witnesses at the scene rushed to her aid and carried her away from the stage where she had been attempting to set the groundbreaking record.
However, there was no medical team present at the time, so the observers relied on their manual efforts to revive her.
Prior to her collapse, Ijeoma had been aiming to surpass Alastair Galpin’s record of the longest full-body massage, which stood at 25 hours and 4 minutes, achieved in South Kalimantan, Indonesia in November 2015.
