Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, has announced her intention to surpass celebrity chef Hilda Baci and claim the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Challenging the Current Record
Following GWR’s confirmation of Hilda’s Cook-A-Thon lasting 93 hours and 11 minutes, Chef Dammy expressed during an interview with Vanguard in Ado-Ekiti on Friday that the recent 120-hour cook was not registered with Guinness World Records.
Setting a New Target
Encouraged by the support received from well-wishers and prominent Nigerians during the last cook-A-Thon, Chef Dammy has made the decision to undertake a 150-hour cooking marathon and ensure that it is officially registered with GWR.
Embracing New Opportunities
The Ekiti-based chef stated that the upcoming challenge will take place next month and expressed her openness to new opportunities and experiences in life.
