Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) Admission Form Open For 2022–2023

The 9th Regular Course degree program at the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA), Wudil, Kano, is accepting applications from appropriately qualified Nigerian residents for the academic year 2022–2023.

Candidates accepted into the Nigeria Police Academy’s Wudil degree program will complete integrated academic and police training for at least five(5) years, earning bachelor’s degrees and commissions as assistant superintendents of police in the Nigerian Police Force (ASP).

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, will begin accepting online applications on Monday, August 1st,2022, and will close on Monday, September 12th,2022, for admission into the 9th Regular Course of the degree program.

Police Academy Admission Requirements

a. Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must be Nigerian citizens and must be between 17 and 22 years of age, and must have a height of not less than 1.67 Metres (5 Feet 6 Inches) if male, and 1.62 Metres (5 Feet 4 Inches) if female. In addition, male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 86cm (34 Inches for those between 21 and 22 years of age). All candidates must be free from any physical deformity or mental disability.

b. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council (NECO) or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) at not more than 2 sittings and including a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study in the Academy.

c. Candidates must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass physical and psychological tests of fitness.

d. SSCE STATEMENT OF RESULTS OR CERTIFICATES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS TAKEN BEFORE 2017 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

How to Apply for Police Academy Admission Form

To get or create a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code, interested applicants are urged to visit the Nigeria Police Academy’s website at https://admission.polac.edu.ng/.

A non-refundable payment of Five Thousand Naira (N5, 000) Only (2000 for the POST UTME EXAMINATION IS INCLUDED) at any commercial bank branch in Nigeria may be made using the RRR number that was acquired.

The candidate will then be able to complete the Application form. Additionally, applicants must upload scanned copies of their birth certificate and certificate of origin, as well as their WAEC/NECO results (only results printed out with WAEC/NECO result PIN/card will be acceptable).

For the automated physical screening exercise, the applicant must print their completed online form and guarantor form and submit them at different authorized centers around the nation.

Once more, candidates must choose the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil on the JAMB application. Only applicants who purchased the Academy’s online application form and met the minimum UTME score requirement of 180 in JAMB would be permitted to take the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Online applications must be filed. Candidates must download the Acknowledgement Form after submitting their applications. Candidates who obtained the minimum national cut-off marks or above, will be enabled to download and print their examination cards.

NPA Entrance Examination Date

From September 19 to September 25, 2022, candidates who fulfill the online registration requirements will be invited to an automated physical screening exercise at each of the 17 (seventeen) national headquarters.

Only applicants who pass the selection exam will be called to the screening and interview with the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Board. The list of successful candidates will be published on our website.
