The Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN), Oron, has announced the cut-off mark required for admission to the 2022/2023 academic year.

The Federal Executive Council No.EC.(77) 172 founded the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, previously known as the Nautical College of Nigeria, in 1979. It was intended to be a comprehensive school for the education and training of shipboard officers, ratings, and shore-based management professionals. In 1983, the Academy graduated its first class of Cadets. Decree No. 16 of 1988 expanded the college’s mission to teach all levels and types of employees necessary for the successful and efficient operation of all aspects of the Nigerian Maritime Industry.

MAN Oron Cut Off Mark

Below is the Academy’s Jamb cut-off mark for 2022/2023 Academic year:

  • A minimum of 175 marks in the 2022/2023 UTME for:
    • Nautical Science
    • Marine Engineering and
    • Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • A minimum of 160 marks in the 2022/2023 UTME for Maritime Transport and Business Studies.
