Nigel Farage promotes a ‘taste of Brexit’ GIN

Nigel Farage has introduced his own line of “patriotic” gin, which he describes as having “the flavour of Brexit.”

A line of red, white, and blue gins made by a distillery in Cornwall have been introduced by the previous leader of the Brexit Party, who is renowned for enjoying a drink.

The gins are prepared with local spring water; the red one has British cherries as its flavoring, the blue one has gardenia flowers as its color, and the white one is a traditional dry gin.

The 58-year-old Mr. Farage said he would send a gift-wrapped bottle to longstanding rival and former European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, and he would even give one to former US President Donald Trump if he liked to drink.

He continued by expressing his hope that, ironically or not, both Brexiteers and Remainers would purchase the gin.

Jean-Claude Juncker was a kind person, even if he disagreed with my views, Mr. Farage stated at the launch of his new brand.

“He deserves a bottle, and one is headed to Luxembourg,” the statement reads. Guy Verhofstadt, the Brexit negotiator for the European Parliament, won’t be receiving one since I can’t exactly say the same about him. Trump also abstains from alcohol.

The 58-year-old Nigel Farage has introduced his new line of gins, offering consumers “a taste of Brexit.”

“I hope this provides a great grin when people give this as a gift to Brexiteers, and if it’s given to Remainers, well, I hope it makes the family chuckle,” the person said.

An unidentified artisan distillery in Cornwall is producing the gin. Mr. Farage said that after getting to know the family running the tiny firm, he launched the new line alongside them.

“A couple of years back I just so happened to run upon a retired couple who decided to try making gin in their garage,” he said. I saw their procedure, and everything was produced, packaged, labeled, and bottled by hand.

“This cottage business is very fantastic.” There is obviously still a lot of work to be done since we are going to elect our fourth prime minister in six years. Even though you may not have yet experienced the Brexit you wanted, this is how it feels.

“I was a gin-drinking eurosceptic in the 1980s, back when people said, “Nigel, you’re so old fashioned,”” Mr. Farage said.

“I’ll have a straight gin and tonic at home.” And you can really play with this range. Cocktails are fun to make, and the colours are amazing and vibrant.

The 70cl bottles, which have a 42 percent alcohol by volume (abv), cost £40 apiece.

The gin line is Mr. Farage’s most recent endeavour since he resigned from politics in 2021 after completing his life’s ambition of having the United Kingdom exit the European Union in 2020.

In March 2021, two months after the Brexit Party changed its name to the Reform Party, Mr. Farage quit the organization.

Although it was the third time he had resigned the leadership of a political party—having stood down twice as UKIP leader—he stated at the time that he had left politics for good.

He started presenting a nighttime programme on GB News in July 2021 that included a Talking Pints section.

On the program, Mr. Farage conducts interviews with guests while drinking beer, either in the GB News studio or through broadcast from a number of pubs across the UK.

Since September 2020, the former lawmaker has also provided financial advice on his Fortune and Freedom blog and podcast.

For £199 a year, customers can “take back control” of their finances through Mr. Farage’s advice program.

In 2017, a former UKIP candidate launched the vodka brand Brexitovka, which is similar to Mr. Farage’s red, white, and blue gin selection.

The 40 percent British vodka’s slogan was “Celebrate independence or drown your sorrows in style with orginal Brexit Vodka,” but it is no longer available.

A premium vodka expertly crafted by true Brexit supporters to irritate 48.1% of your friends.
