Nicola Bulley’s partner says she did not fall in the water

According to a diving expert, Nicola Bulley’s partner now thinks the missing mother-of-two did not fall into the ocean.

The working theory at Lancashire Police has always been that Ms. Bulley, who inexplicably vanished from St. Michael’s on Wyre on January 27, ended up in the water.

No sign of the mother has been located despite extensive searches on the river and the use of specialized equipment by a private diving crew.

The team’s leader, Peter Faulding, was seen escorting Ms. Bulley’s companion, Paul Ansell, over the area where she vanished two weeks ago.

He asserted today that Mr. Ansell is losing faith in the police’s explanation as a result of his surprise at the shallow depth of the water.

‘He was startled at how shallow the rocks were yesterday,’ he told the Sun. He believed it to be very deep there. She would have landed on the rocks if she had entered.

The family expressed gratitude for our presence.

He believes that Nicola has not entered that river, and they said, “You’ve given us confidence now.”

It comes as Ms. Bulley’s friends today issued a new appeal for information, saying that her two girls “need their mummy” and inquire about her whereabouts on a daily basis.

Since she disappeared while walking her dog Willow on Friday, January 27, in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire, the 45-year-old mother of two has been missing, and her mysterious case has captured the attention of millions.

Emma White is one of her family members who is participating in a vigil this morning in the town. Emma is standing by the main road carrying her picture and pleading with any witnesses to come forward.

A large screen also shows Ms. Bulley’s face.

“We just need Nikki home for her two adorable little girls who need their mother,” she remarked. It’s like agony,” they continued, adding that they still believe she is alive.

When the girls return home from school, they inquire, “any news on mummy?’” and Paul, Nikki’s partner, has to refuse, and he notices the girls’ deflated expressions. The young child asks, “Is my mummy famous?” I wasn’t sure how to respond to that myself, and for the wrong reasons.

Bring Nikki home, sit down on the sofa with the girls and Willow, and you can have that happy ending because that’s what we’re holding out for, she continued.

Police assert that their “main working hypothesis” is that Ms. Bulley drowned and that a team of 40 investigators has switched their investigation from the River Wyre to the coast because they have not yet discovered any indication of third-party involvement.

There is still a “possibility” that Ms. Bulley departed the bench where her dog and cellphone were discovered by taking a route not visible to CCTV cameras.

Ultimately, Ms. White stated, “We have no footage for an area out of the river where Nikki may have entered.” Neither Nikki’s whereabouts nor whether anyone has been spotted are known. We are attempting to raise awareness of this today since it is so important.

Ms. Bulley vanished while walking her springer spaniel Willow along the River Wyre after dropping off her two girls, ages six and nine, at school.

Mothers present at the vigil were sure that their friend would not have voluntarily left her daughters behind.

A mother standing in the light rain on the Garstang Road stated, “I know Nicola and there are only two possibilities – that she was abducted for fell in the river as the police believe.”

There is no way that Nicola would have left her girls behind and gone off on her own. No one is aware right now, which is why we are here to inform them.

A second mother identified as Mel reported that one of her daughters was enrolled in the same class as a student of Ms. Bulley.

We simply want to want people to reflect about a fortnight ago and ask themselves if they have any dashcam film that might have captured Nicola.

“We all hope she is found and able to return home,”

As detectives track up to 700 vehicles and their drivers, it is said that police are searching for a “tatty” red van that was in the vicinity.

It happened as the search moved to the Irish Sea after a group of experienced divers gave up looking in the River Wyre.

The “main working hypothesis” of the police, they assert, is that Ms. Bulley drowned, maybe as a result of “an issue” with Willow.

Today, according to Ms. White, they will try to ‘jog’ people’s memories of the day she vanished.

She said: “It has been two weeks today,” in an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today program.

“The neighborhood is showing up to raise that profile, and we’re trying to bring it to everyone’s attention.” Dashcam film of Garstang Road, which is located near the bridge that you cross and is just outside the village of St Michael’s on Wyre.

It is a significant portion of the village, so residents would remember crossing it.

“Had they noticed anything?” We have banners, placards with Nikki’s face on them, and an eight-foot moving LED board with the words “Bring Nikki home” on it.

The mysterious disappearance of the mortgage adviser recently took a bizarre turn when police issued a dispersal order after amateur investigators posted videos on TikTok of themselves attempting to enter a large abandoned house near to where she was last seen.

In addition, Lancashire Police said they “would not hesitate to take action” in response to “grossly offensive” social media posts directed towards Ms. Bulley’s family and law enforcement.

Due to the discovery of three significant CCTV blindspots, detectives are looking into a two-hour gap between Nicola Bulley’s disappearance and the initial contact to the police to report her missing.

The 45-year-old mother of two disappeared on January 27 at about 9.10am.

The initial report of her disappearance didn’t come in until 11 am, so there was almost two hours between when she was last seen and when police started looking for her.

No sign of the mortgage adviser has been discovered despite a mile-long length of the river being painstakingly searched.

Police rushed to the water on Friday to start scouring Morecambe Bay as the search approached its fifteenth day.

Finding Nicola “in the open sea becomes more of a possibility,” according to police, who are combing the coast off Morecambe Bay from two boats with specialized police teams. She was last seen there some 20 miles away.

Although Peter Faulding, founder of professional search team Specialist Group International, claimed it was “impossible” that Ms. Bulley could have made it to the sea, the search has now been expanded.

He continued by saying that after using extremely precise sonar technology for three days, he was confident she was not in the river, raising the possibility of a “third party” being involved in her disappearance.

Additionally, it was revealed yesterday that investigators may be attempting to track down a ‘tatty’ red van that was parked close to the location where the mother-of-two vanished two weeks ago after being seen by a witness twice.

In the meantime, three blindspots have been found in the vicinity of Ms. Bulley’s disappearance after authorities acknowledged that she might have departed the area by a route not captured by CCTV cameras.

The roadway in question goes to the blindspot Garstang Road, which passes through the settlement.

Police have been looking for dashcam footage from 700 drivers who traveled along the road when she vanished.

There are only two alternative exits from the area outside the river itself, one of which is monitored by CCTV.

Friends of the missing mother have alleged that the CCTV system guarding the other exit, which is adjacent to the Rowanwater mobile home park, is malfunctioning.

The fields south of the location of Ms. Bulley’s last sighting would have been captured by this camera.

Police are certain that Nicola did not exit the field near the river via Rowanwater after checking more CCTV footage from the mobile home park.

A riverside path that connects the Wyreside Farm Caravan Park with the A586 is another blind spot.

It is also believed that a camera at a home nearby the walkway was inoperative at the time but did not capture the escape.

This week, Superintendent Sally Riley agreed that it was possible for Ms. Bulley to have departed the area through a blind spot, but she said that “every single” criminal theory had been ruled out as of yet.

It happens as police today turned their attention to the water, with vessels scouring Morecambe Bay.

Along the River Wyre, both Lancashire Police and a private diving business performed in-depth searches.

Around 20 miles from where Nicola was last seen, two boats manned by specialized police teams were spotted searching the coast off Morecambe Bay. Police said it is now more likely that they will discover Nicola “in the open sea.”

After no policemen or divers were seen at the area of the River Wyre where she vanished, police yesterday sought to reassure the public that their search is still ongoing.

It was disturbingly quiet with no police there after three days of frantic activity with Mr. Faulding conducting a search on a five-mile section of the river.

After Mr. Faulding said Ms. Bulley was not in the section of the river he had been examining with sophisticated sonar, his team from Specialist Group International called a stop to their inquiry.

In order to reassure the public that the search was still ongoing along other portions of the river that flow into Morecombe Bay, Lancashire Police had to call on police divers who had joined in his search but were now missing.
