Nick Kyrgios is charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend in an incident which allegedly happened late last year

According to the allegations, Nick Kyrgios assaulted his ex-girlfriend late last year in a domestic violence episode.

The 27-year-old Australian tennis player is accused of assaulting model Chiara Passari and will appear in court next month.

He is presently training for a Wimbledon quarterfinal match.

According to ACT Policing, a 27-year-old Watson man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on August 2nd to answer to a charge of common assault stemming from an incident in December 2021, according to a statement released by police on Tuesday afternoon.

Maximum prison time for the offense is two years.

The complaints against Kyrgios were made “in the context of a domestic relationship,” according to his attorney Jason Moffett from Key Chambers, who told The Canberra Times that his client was aware of them.

It is understood that Kyrgios is accused of grabbing his ex-girlfriend Ms. Passari.

Kyrgios, who is primarily regarded by his fans as a lovable rogue, is being encouraged by his detractors in an effort to record his greatest grand slam finish at Wimbledon.

Despite having shoulder pain, the Australian won the finale against American Brandon Nakashima, 20, winning 4-6 6-4 7-6 (2) 3-6 6-2 to advance to the quarterfinals where he will face Cristian Garin of Chile.

The most discussed match of the tournament so far was Kyrgios’ encounter against Tsitsipas, and he faced a lot of backlash for his conduct there.

Sincerely, I don’t care, Kyrgios stated. I simply smile. It’s hilarious. I often make jokes about it with my crew. It’s amusing.

“I almost just read things when I get up and laugh.” And I never forget things that people say, even if they were said three or four years ago.

I carry a large chip on my shoulder. I’m sitting here in Wimbledon’s quarterfinals once more, and I just know that there are so many people who are upset.
