Sam is shown sleeping in the buff (of course) close to fellow contender Lilly while a campfire burns nearby for comfort. Sam cries out in pain as sparks from the coals drop on the tip of his penis as the fire crackles.
The next day, Sam reveals, “We’ve been pelted with hot coals.” “And one of those coals has landed on the helmet of my, uh, my little soldier.”

Sam required treatment from a “brave, heroic medic” who applied disinfectant to his wound the next day, despite his ability to laugh about the unpleasant occurrence at the time.
