ABU DHABI, 29th July, 2022 (WAM) — Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, today received Dr. Salah Mohammed Al Baijan, Ambassador of Kuwait to the UAE, on the occasion of the end of his tenure as ambassador.
At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Nahyan welcomed Dr. Al Baijan, after which they exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern. They also discussed the historical and deep-rooted ties that their countries share.
Sheikh Nahyan stressed that the UAE-Kuwait relations are witnessing ongoing development, due to the support of their leaderships, wishing Kuwait and its people continued prosperity, under the rule of Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.
Kuwait is an invaluable cog in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) joint work machine, especially as it shares the vision that other GCC countries have for the future, he added, while commending Al Baijan’s efforts during his term in the UAE.
Al Baijan thanked the UAE’s leadership, government and people for their hospitality and cooperation, which enabled his success in performing his duties as Kuwait’s Ambassador. He also lauded the policies of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the UAE’s remarkable track record of achievements.
