Musk defends the FBI, but describes the original Twitter as a “Democratic Party activism machine.”

Elon Musk supported the FBI even after the most recent Twitter Files dump revealed the agency worked closely with the company’s previous owners in advance of the 2020 presidential election.

Friday, when independent journalist Matt Taibbi disclosed new inside knowledge, Musk stated, “With rare exception, the FBI seems to want to do the right thing.”

Musk criticized Twitter’s past management in the same sentence, claiming they “worked like a Democratic Party activism machine.”

Musk stated that it was “absolutely accurate” that his business censored President Trump in the days leading up to the 2020 presidential election. Musk stated, “The evidence is clear and copious”

He said, “Election interference by social media firms definitely weakens public faith in democracy and is wrong.”

On Saturday, additional Twitter Files releases are anticipated.
