A court heard that a sex worker who was reportedly murdered on a rural property had left clues to find her perpetrator.

Alex Morgan, 34, left a note and directions to Little Bridge Farm near Hastings, East Sussex, where she feared she would die, according to Duncan Atkinson KC’s testimony before a jury in Lewes.

Mark Brown, age 41, is charged with murdering Ms. Morgan and another lady on the farm. He denies both allegations.

The jury has been shown photographs of a rollerblade box that allegedly contains the trail of clues, as well as the oil drum in which Ms. Morgan’s remains were discovered.

The jury was also informed that this image depicts the arrival of Alex Morgan’s Mini at the farm.

Brown, a part-time security guard and laborer, reportedly offered Ms. Morgan a substantial quantity of money to spend several days with him.

The jury was told that Ms. Morgan “obviously understood that it may not have been above board” since she left a trail of clues for her boys and the police to discover.

At Ms. Morgan’s residence, police discovered a substantial sum of cash, a mobile phone, and handwritten notes.

One message contained the PIN for a mobile phone that contained photographs labeled as “photographic evidence Brighton Premier Inn or Travel Lodge, security firm on site.”

The court heard that the memo also offered directions for locating Little Bridge Farm.

The jury was also given screenshots of Ms. Morgan’s WhatsApp communications with Mark Brown (pictured) in the days before her disappearance.

Brown told a coworker that he was headed to prison for double murder, despite only being arrested in connection with the death of one woman.

Jurors heard that when asked if he had murdered two women, Brown replied that he could not answer.

Brown, 41, a part-time laborer and security guard, denies killing two women at Little Bridge Farm.

In November of last year, he was detained when the car of sex worker Alex Morgan was tracked to a farm near Hastings, East Sussex.

In Hove, the Lewes Crown Court heard that a stockpile of prescription medications for another woman was discovered in his van.

The court heard that Leah Ware was held as a virtual prisoner at Little Bridge Farm and hadn’t been seen for six months when Mark Brown was questioned about the death of Alex Morgan.

Duncan Atkinson KC told a Hove jury that the defendant indicated to a coworker that he had killed twice, despite only being questioned about Alex Morgan.

The defendant informed him, “The cops have my phone and I will be arrested.”

When asked what he was wanted for, he said, “Double murder. I’m leaving for 25 years to live”

Mr. Atkinson stated that the defendant’s remark to “double” when he had not yet been apprehended for the murder of Leah Ware was noteworthy.

“The defendant’s response when asked if he had done it was also relevant.

Instead of saying no, he responded, “I cannot comment at this moment” and added, “I have to take this one.”

Mr. Atkinson stated that Brown had made extraordinary measures to conceal his actions.

In November of last year, Brown was detained when Ms. Morgan’s automobile was tracked to a farm near Hastings, East Sussex. The court heard that Ms. Morgan had left a considerable amount of cash, a mobile phone, and handwritten notes at her residence after she ‘clearly realized’ that Mr. Brown’s job offer’may not be above board’

Brown, 41, denies the murders of Ms. Morgan and Leah Ware (pictured), a 33-year-old mother of three children.

“The actions chosen indicate deliberate deliberation and cold, calculating planning.”

“They are the result of culpability for a murder, not worry over an accident,” he said.

Each of them did not simply vanish from Little Bridge Farm; rather, they perished there.

Each of them did not simply pass away while in the presence of the defendant, but were murdered by him.

Alex Morgan, a single mother of two from Sissinghurst, Kent, was reported missing by her mother in November 2021, when she failed to return on a weekend excursion.

She was last seen on November 14 filling up her car at a gas station near her house in Cranbrook, Kent.

A friend last saw Leah Ware, a mother-of-three from Hastings, East Sussex, in the early hours of May 6, 2021.

Mark Brown, age 41, of St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, denies killing Alexandra Morgan, age 34, and Leah Ware, age 33.

The proceeding continues.
