Mother and two sons found dead in house in south-east London

The Metropolitan Police have identified the mother and her two sons who were discovered dead in a house in south-east London. The victims were Nadja De Jager, 47, and her two children, Alexander, aged nine, and Maximus, aged seven.

The police were alerted to the situation and arrived at the scene on Thursday, where they had to force entry into the property. All three individuals were found deceased inside.

The Metropolitan Police have announced that they are not searching for anyone else in connection with the investigation.

Detective Inspector Ollie Stride said: “This is a deeply sad case and we are continuing to establish the circumstances that led to this tragic incident.

“Our thoughts today are very much with the family as they struggle to come to terms with their loss and we ask that their privacy be respected at this extremely difficult time.”
