Dhramalingum Pillay, a 69-year-old Tongaat native, was vacationing in India with his daughter on 31 January 2023 when he vanished from the Mumbai International Airport.

Pillay was due to return to South Africa with his daughter through Nairobi when he vanished from the Mumbai International Airport.

The elderly guy vanished after his daughter fell asleep while waiting to catch their aircraft at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja International Airport.

On Friday, February 3, the nephew of Pillay contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance after unsuccessful attempts to locate him.

The officers who responded to the missing man’s report were notified that he has a history of dementia.

His daughter remained in India to locate him.

RUSA has requested that information be shared with contacts in India so that Dhramalingum Pillay can be located.
