Missing Christina Powell has been found dead in her car

Three weeks after going missing while en route to work in Texas, mother-of-two Christina Lee Powell was discovered dead in her parked car at a strip mall.

According to friends and relatives, the 39-year-old was last seen leaving her home at 10:34 a.m. on July 5 after calling her paralegal employment to let them know she would be late.

Police started looking for her three days after doorbell camera footage of her hurrying to her paralegal employment surfaced.

According to the New York Post, her body was discovered in her Nissan Rogue on Saturday night in the parking lot of the Huebner Oaks Center in San Antonio.

Before she was found, her body had been “parked in the same place for almost a week,” according to police, according to Fox News.

A security officer “noticed a bad odor,” the New York Post reports. He then called 911 after discovering her body in the front seat.

Powell’s body showed no evident signs of trauma, but the coroner will determine the exact cause of death.

Her identity was confirmed by the police after discovering her purse inside the car.

On July 25, Powell’s mother, Claudia Mobley, announced the news on Facebook after pleading with people to assist in finding her daughter.

She wrote, “My lovely daughter, Christina Powell, has been found, deceased.” “I’m devastated.” I appreciate all of your prayers.

On July 23, Mobley published her initial cry for assistance, noting that her daughter had departed for work on July 5 and had forgotten to take her cell phone.

No transactions have been made on her bank or credit cards, according to Mobley.

Neither her bank account nor credit cards have shown any activity. We have followed her route to work several times, and each time we have found no bodies of water or evidence of a collision.

Even if she went to work, we’re not sure.

Powell’s family members reportedly informed authorities that before she vanished, she got into a fight with the father of one of her kids.

He is cooperating with the inquiry, according to investigators, and is not a person of interest, Fox News was informed.

This story is still developing.
