Former First Lady Michelle Obama joined Bruce Springsteen on stage during his concert in Barcelona, Spain, and sang backup for his hit song “Glory Days.”
The video, taken on Friday night, shows Michelle and actress Kate Capshaw singing behind the mic with Springsteen’s bandmate, Patti Scialfa.
Michelle appeared to enjoy herself, even playing the tambourine during the performance.
Her husband, former President Barack Obama, was not seen at the concert, but it is possible he and Kate’s husband, filmmaker Steven Spielberg, were watching from the wings.
The group, including Bruce, Barack, Michelle, Steven, and Kate, had dinner together in Barcelona the night before the concert.
Patti Scialfa was also at the dinner, so it’s possible that they planned Michelle’s special guest appearance over dinner.
The group seems to be still enjoying their “glory days,” rather than just looking back at them.
