Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s 26-year-old nephew, has landed a part to represent his late uncle in an upcoming biopic. Jaafar Jackson will bring Michael Jackson back to life.

Director Antoine Fuqua announced at the end of January that Jaafar will portray the king of pop in the biopic. Jaafar will make his cinematic debut in the biopic.

He is the second oldest of Jermaine Jackson’s seven sons. Jermaine is the eldest child of the Jackson family and was a member of the renowned Jackson Five.

After Fuqua made the news, Jaafar released a message on Instagram that said, “I’m humbled and honored to bring my uncle Michael’s tale to life. To all my followers around the globe, I’ll be seeing you shortly.”

The same tweet was shared by Jaafar.

The biography will chronicle Michael’s life from childhood through his status as a global celebrity. It is anticipated that the film will also explore the controversy surrounding the problematic musician’s history.

Katherine Jackson, mother of Michael, stated, “Jaafar is my son. It is fantastic to see him carrying on the Jackson history of artists and performers.”

Michael Jackson: The Man In The Mirror and Searching For Neverland are two of the pop superstar’s further biopics.
