Meet Jeremiah Fennell: Youngest & Newest NFL Sports Reporter | Health Challenges | Potential Career

Jeremiah Fennell

10 years of age Jeremiah Fennell is arguably the newest and youngest sports news reporter, and he could become a prominent NFL (National Football League) sports announcer and journalist in the future.

Jeremiah Fennell stated, however, that he became a sports journalist because he was unable to play sports due to health problems.

“I was told by my parents that I might not be able to play contact sports when I was four years old because I have a brain defect and a detached shoulder bone,” he told Jennifer Hudson on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Yet, Jeremiah stated that he participated in football, basketball, and tee-ball for one year. He hoped to thereafter “hone his skills in journalism and broadcasting.”

He disclosed that his mother first denied him permission to create a YouTube account, but eventually gave her consent in 2020.

“That’s what got me started, but what’s really driving me is that I want to make my parents proud at a young age because my mother has significant health issues and my father is an elderly man,” he said.

Jeremiah continued to reflect about the early death of his parents.

“Most children believe that their parents will live forever throughout the duration of their youth, but when I was 5 years old, my mother nearly passed away.

Following a month without seeing his mother, which Jeremiah described as the “worst 30 days” of his life, the young journalist said he “had a long conversation with God,” telling Him that he would be the “greatest son I could be” if she returned.

Jeremiah stated that he fell in love with his favorite team, the Las Vegas Raiders, after watching them play in the first NFL game he ever saw.

“I attended my first Raiders game when I was about 2 years old,” he explained. When I watched my first NFL game, I knew the Raiders would always hold a special place in my heart. And I always knew I wanted to be a journalist, therefore I chose to commentate on their games.”

The Raiders posted a video of Jeremiah interviewing Davante Adams on January 11 with the caption ”

Our newest (and prettiest) reporter, @tae15adams, is now on the job.

On February 12, the team also surprised him with a trip to the Super Bowl. Jeremiah also expressed his desire to have interviews with Stefon Diggs and Peyton Manning.

Future career goals for Jeremiah Fennell include journalist, sports broadcaster, entrepreneur, and investor.
