The second season of Sex/Life is back and Sasha, played by Margaret Odette, has a new love interest named Dr. Kamani Evans, portrayed by Cleo Anthony.
In the show, Sasha’s former fling Brad, played by Adam Demos, is out of the picture, and Kam enters as an old flame. Kam is a doctor who runs an international medical non-profit and left his job at The Cleveland Clinic.
In season two, we find out that Kam and Sasha used to have a romantic relationship and were in love. Sasha, a strong and independent woman, is taken aback when Kam appears out of the blue after 17 years and asks her out to dinner.
The couple goes on an exclusive date to The Met, where they flash back to the past, reminiscing about the last time they were there together. Kam proposed to Sasha in that very same spot, but she decided to ditch the flight and ghost Kam, to pursue her own dreams.
In the present, Kam tells Sasha that he’s never stopped thinking about that moment and wants to be with her. Sasha pulls out the engagement ring Kam gave her years ago, indicating that she hasn’t forgotten him either.
Sex/Life Season 2 is filled with twists and turns, and fans will have to watch to see if Kam and Sasha’s love story will end in a happy-ever-after. As for Cleo Anthony, the actor who plays Kam, he is a 41-year-old actor who kick-started his on-screen career in 2012 as Kelly in Have You Met Miss Jones?
